Its a 15th century pub with old oak beams, it has its own local history and retaining features of its period. In the cellar there were two tunnels used by Dick Turpin and other highwaymen and villains as escape routes. Obviously these tunnels are now blocked off.
Roebuck Bar is popular among locals with its real ales, fine wines and a good range of home cooked snacks and meals. A relaxed atmosphere with roaring log fires in winter months make it an ideal meeting point.
